Pink Saturday Rose Tea Room & Introducing…

pink satVisit the best group of Pink-o-philes at the Pink Saturday event hosted weekly by Beverly at How Sweet The Sound.

There is a a lovely tea room in our city called “The Rose Tea Room”. It is decorated in Victorian-Shabby-Chic and has so many pretty things to look at. I love how nothing is the same but it all goes together.

009

010Of course there is a lot of pink seen in the vintage linens, china and glasses. The serving platters are the hand made type fashioned by people all over Blogland.012What a cute idea for a lamp. I think the owner took a silver tea pot and added the electric lamp apparatus and shade. I heard it is easy to do but I haven’t tried it yet.011

013014Next time I hope to get pictures of High Tea in action. I never get tired of “Tea-Faire”: Cucumber Sandwiches, Scones, Petit Fours, Strawberries and Devonshire Cream…015

Now, the best is last. Introducing my new grand daughter, Liliana. She is precious as can be and I am in crazy-love with her! Being a grandma rocks, I tell you!

  • .

Happy Pink Saturday to you all. I hope to visit as many of my Pink Friends as possible this weekend!

Don't you just love being able to set such a fabulous table and nothing has to match. You set a beautiful table and I love the stemware.
Of course Liliana stole the show, she is a doll.
Happy Pink Saturday, Char

Hi Cindy~
First things first - Liliana is adorable!! What fun for you and her! I enjoyed your post. I can remember when I lived in Denver MANY years ago that we would travel to Castel Rock to the Golden Dobbin. It was in an old victorian home ran by two gentell elderly women and they served lunch (reservations only) and nothing matched on the tables but it was all so cute how they put it together. Your post reminded me of that. Wonderful to meet you!

What a beautiful name for a beautiful girl! I love those vintage table cloths too. I always look for them when shopping but am too cheap to pay the 20-30 price for one that is in good shape. Happy Pink Saturday and have a wonderful weekend!

That Rose Tea Room looks inviting! That sweet little angel in pink, though, is precious! Tomorrow I'm taking my friend who is about to turn 50 to tea at an old home turned into a tea room. They serve you from 10 am to noon, then you're free to shop at their gift shop and wander around to admire the beautiful home.

Happy pink Saturday. Love all your pictures (your white chairs are gorgeous), the best was Liliana and what a pretty name.

Happy PINK SATURDAY, Cindy!

So happy that you stopped by my blog!

Love that pretty tea room! I made a teapot lamp like the one you pictured. It is very easy to do. Just remember to polish the silver and tarnish resistant it BEFORE you wire it for electricity. That way you will never have to polish it again!

Your little granddaughter is absolutely adorable! She's definitely the BEST PINK, by far!!

Love the tea room but have to ask how many men actually go there. My hubby would call it a "girly shop" and claim that all his life forces would be sucked out of him after ten minutes.

Your granddaughter is adorable, and I agree being a Grandmother is the best. .

I miss our local tea room. My husband's parents used to own it, then sold it-and the new owners burned it down. It was such a grand structure on the little square. Loved seeing all the interesting ways they combined items!

Every photo is gorgeous, right down to Miss Liliana! Love that big ol' hair flower she's sporting.
Cucumber sandwiches, scones, strawberries w/cream. Yum! I'm ready for a tea party!

Being a grandma does rock, and Liliana is precious! Happy Easter and thank you for visiting my blog. I have some friends from California who moved to Broomfield many years ago. The Schillinger's, I'm sure you don't know them, but they were the nicest people! Tracy and George were there names. OK, I'm chattering!!
