Blue Monday~Still Patriotic on the 5th

blue_monday[3] Happy Blue Monday! Click on the Birdie to visit Smiling Sally and all the Blue Monday folks. It’s a great way to start the week.

I am liking this Monday because it is a holiday; a long weekend for the 4th of July. Since I am featuring decor for the holiday, Three cheers for the red, white and BLUE!

You can never have too many pillows. This is a quick way to jazz up the room for the celebration.

025 You can never have too many quilts and throws. Simple to throw around and easy to pack up again. My friend Connie has a family room that is ALL Americana; she leaves it out year round :)026 Placemats and potholders. A “Freedom” accent pillow, too.032 033

034A primitive wooden flag and a framed print for Independence Day.035

The bottom corner shows a small blue star; well part of it.

Thanks for stopping by and if you have the day off tomorrow; have fun!

Now, THAT is the perfect room for a Patriot! Love this! What adorable things... quilts and pillows! I don't blame her for leaving it out year round. I would want to see those cute things all the time, too!
Thanks for sharing!

Happy Blue Monday...

XO,

Sheila :-)

YOu really prepared for this day! :-)

Though we live in different countries, I too think that it is nice to have something that reminds us of what our forefathers have done to give us this freedom.

A day truly worth celebrating.

Belated Happy Blue Monday!

Hi Cindy Sweetie...

What absolutely beautiful quilts and pillows you have shared. The stars are beautiful too. I love quilts and the patriotic ones are just DDG. Actually the are hard to get your hands on these days, especially the queen size. I can always find the twins, but not the queen. Such a beautiful share sweetie.

I have been out of commision for awhile with getting around to everyone. I have been sick but am trying to get back up and at'em. 2 2 1/2 months is a long time for me. I still can not go outside the house until July 19th and for the next week can NOT talk. My vocal cords are strained from coughing so now they took my voice away too.
I was afraid to ask what next?

Well sweetie. I pray you all are well, the family is good. Bring me up to date soon. I think of you often.

Country hugs sweetie...Sherry
